Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of post’s this week. Fell behind with all the craziness that was Sandy. So without further ado here is our Tiny Lovely Doll post of the week. I really couldn’t choose just one look from the fantastic Spring/Summer collection by Erdem so here are two of my favorite looks. What I loved most about this collection was the unexpected mix of prints with vintage 1950s silhouettes. Apparently, the collection was inspired by sci-fi author Zenna Henderson. Erdem wanted to give his women the feel of other worldliness by mixing python, for a reptilian image, and lace, to represent his classic women. Also his use of clashing color palettes, mixing neons and pastels, gives an over all feel of jarring wrongness that works brilliantly with the typical Erdem style.
